Dr. Tamara Brittney Bockow and Andrew Todd Kaplan are to be married Sunday at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle. Rabbi Rachel R. Naussbaum will perform the ceremony.

The couple met at the University of Pennsylvania, from which they graduated, she summa cum laude and he magna cum laude.

The bride, 27, received a medical degree from Penn in May. Next month, she is to begin a neurology internship in Boston at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in a combined program of Harvard Medical School. She is a daughter of Dr. Barry I. Bockow and Marcy J. Bockow of Mercer Island, Wash.

The bridegroom, 27, is pursuing an M.B.A. at Harvard. He is a son of Marcia L. Kaplan and Bruce C. Kaplan of Leawood, Kan.
